About this symbol
⛧, the inverted pentagram, has two points upwards. The French occultist Éliphas Lévi wrote in the 1850s that an upright star stood for good and an inverted one for evil, and the Church of Satan’s emblem, the Sigil of Baphomet, sets a goat’s head in an inverted star.
